  1. I enjoyed reading this chapter very much.

    I had not noticed the shift in Polanyi's treatment of Copernicus from SFS (1946) to PK (1958). MP wrestled with Copernicus' work as an insight into and affirmation of reality in his later work on "Genius in Science," I believe.

    You should add a note about Struan Jacobs' article in your reference to the special edition of TAD on Polanyi and Kuhn. It is an excellent piece of detective work and contains the whole text of Kuhn's letter to Poteat about the charge that he had borrowed from MP and not given due credit.
